Kim Lipsky Joins Crestview Strategy as Director, US Government Relations

Crestview Strategy taps veteran US Senate staffer to co-lead new Washington D.C. practice

WASHINGTON, DC - Crestview Strategy, Canada’s leading digital public affairs agency, announced today that Kim Lipsky is joining as Director, US Government Relations.

This strategic expansion follows Crestview Strategy’s June 2019 announcement introducing leading Canada-US economic and trade advisor, Maryscott “Scotty” Greenwood, as Managing Director of United States. Kim will work directly with Scotty on the agency’s new advocacy practice in Washington, D.C.

Crestview Strategy is now positioned to grow its US offering with a veteran government relations professional familiar with the Washington, D.C. legislative landscape and political decision making environment. Kim’s addition to the team reflects the agency’s growing ability to serve and advise clients on both sides of the Canada-United States border with interests in Washington, D.C. and across Canadian capitals.

“Kim has earned a well-deserved reputation on Capitol Hill for her ability to get things done by working collaboratively with policymakers and staff from both political parties," said Scotty Greenwood, Crestview Strategy Partner and Managing Director of United States. "Her vast experience navigating the complex and challenging legislative and regulatory landscape of Washington, D.C. will prove invaluable to our clients.”

Kim joins Crestview Strategy after more than two decades amassing legislative victories in the United States Senate. While there, she spent time as a staff director for the Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation, Special Committee on Aging and the Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, serving under the respective leaderships of Sens. Maria Cantwell, Bill Nelson, and Patty Murray.

"It's an honor to be at the forefront of Crestview's U.S expansion," said Lipsky. "I am excited about rolling up my sleeves to help grow the agency and serve its clients.”

A graduate of the University of Florida, Kim received a master's degree in public administration from the George Washington University.
