Susie Heath Joins Crestview Strategy as Senior Consultant

Ottawa, ON - Crestview Strategy, a leading Canadian digital public affairs agency, announced today that Susie Heath has joined their growing government relations team in Ottawa as a Senior Consultant. Crestview Strategy, in Canada and globally, serves some of the world’s biggest companies by providing counsel on government relations, public affairs strategy, campaigns, and mergers & acquisitions.

Susie brings with her almost a decade of experience in communications, stakeholder engagement, government relations and political campaigns. Prior to joining Crestview, Susie spent a year practicing government relations in Ottawa, and prior to that, over three years in a senior national public affairs role at a global ridesharing company. During this period, she led the communications strategy which resulted in the regulation of ridesharing in communities across Canada.

Previously, Susie spent over six years at Queen’s Park, working with the Dalton McGuinty and Kathleen Wynne Governments.  During her time at the Government of Ontario, Susie served as Senior Communications Advisor and Press Secretary to the Minister of Finance, as well as in a number of senior communications and legislative advisor roles to various Ministers.

Born in London, England, Susie was raised in Toronto, Ontario.  She holds an Honours degree in political science and international relations from the University of British Columbia.

Executive Role Established to Support Agency’s Growth

Toronto, ON - Crestview Strategy, a leading Canadian digital public affairs agency, announced today the addition of Matthew John as Chief Operating Officer. This strategic hire was made in support of unprecedented growth following the establishment of a new Calgary-based venture to expand Crestview Strategy’s offering in Western Canada and significant new hires and promotions.

Prior to joining Crestview Strategy, Matthew served as the Business Development Manager in Deloitte’s SAP SuccessFactors practice and before that was the National Client Development Manager for Capital One’s Costco credit card program. In addition to his leadership roles in the private sector, Matthew served as the Manager of Outreach in the office of Prime Minister Stephen Harper and has held executive positions in political parties at the federal and provincial level.
