Crestview Strategy Strengthens Government Relations Team with Two New Hires

Agency Announces New Consultants in Ottawa, Edmonton Office


Ottawa, ON - Crestview Strategy, a leading Canadian digital public affairs agency, announced today exciting changes to its Government Relations Practice.

Marina Banister joins the Edmonton office as a consultant. Prior to joining Crestview Strategy, Marina served as an advisor to an Edmonton city councillor, providing high-stakes policy and communication support. While completing her degree in Political Science, Marina served as President of the University of Alberta Students’ Union, tasked with representing and servicing the university’s over 32,000 undergraduate students.

“Marina brings with her a unique understanding of Alberta’s political landscape,” said Melissa Caouette, Practice Lead, Western Canada. “She has an impressive track record building partnerships and navigating complex policy landscapes. We’re thrilled to have her join our growing team in Edmonton.”

As a consultant, Marina will support Crestview Strategy’s unprecedented growth following the establishment of an Alberta-based venture in October 2018 to expand the agency’s offerings in Western Canada.

Crestview Strategy also announced today that Patricia Sibal has joined their Ottawa team as a consultant. Prior to joining Crestview Strategy, Patricia practiced government relations in Ottawa and Toronto, providing political insight, research, and analysis across a variety of sectors.

Originally from Toronto, Patricia holds a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University with a double major in Political Science and International Development. While at McGill, Patricia managed various publications specializing in political news and opinion, serving as News Editor for the Bull & Bear Magazine and Online Editor for the McGill Journal of Political Science.
